Inverter air conditioner for cooling and heating

Is it worth replacing your existing heating system?

The advantages of an inverter air conditioner

A modern inverter air conditioner offers an energy-efficient solution for cooling your home in summer. But is it also worth using it for heating in winter?

A quality inverter air conditioner will also work reliably over the long term, using the electricity needed to run it orders of magnitude more efficiently than other electric or outdated gas-based heating systems.

And when connected to solar panels, thanks to renewable energy sources, you can even reduce your monthly energy costs to zero.

The inverter mos or split air conditioning system:

  • can cool or heat a room extremely quickly,
  • is safer to operate and cheaper to upgrade than a gas system,
  • allows complete independence from the gas supplier.

Air conditioners cause air movements when they are in operation. These air movements bother some people and not others. It is definitely worth thinking before investing in such a system.
In KoósAir-Technic’s offer there is a so-called indoor unit air diffuser that eliminates the above mentioned problem.

The best inverter air conditioners can work at -15 degrees and even at -25 degrees without any problems.
One or more rooms?

Mono or multisplit?

A mono-split air conditioner can fully cool and heat a single room. For properties with multiple  rooms, the multisplit air conditioner is recommended.

The advantage of a multisplit is that up to five indoor units can be connected to one outdoor unit.  The investment costs are therefore slightly higher, but a multi-split system can achieve overall  savings of 20-30% more than the same number of mono-split air conditioners.

Another advantage of a multi split system is that it saves space and has only one outdoor unit,  which can be important for reasons of space saving, flat layout and maintenance.

In a smaller flat, even a single air conditioner can provide a comfortable temperature in winter and  summer.

SCOOP and SEER

Multiple efficiency

A high-quality inverter air conditioner, e.g. from Mitsubishi, Daikin, Gree, Cascade, Toshiba, Fujitsu, Panasonic, LG or Midea, can generate more than 4 kW of heating energy from 1 kW of energy input. As for cooling energy, it can even be twice as much.

The SCOOP and SEER values indicate the energy efficiency of the appliances, i.e. how efficient they are compared to their specific power consumption. The higher these values are, the better.

For SCOOP, a value above 4 is considered very good. This means that it can provide more than four times as much heating energy from 1 kW of energy input.

The SEER value is an indicator of cooling efficiency, which can be as high as 7-8 for the best units. If you see this on the label, you can be sure that your unit can deliver 7-8 times the cooling energy from 1 kW of energy input.

If you have a separate meter connected to your air conditioner and buy electricity at a discounted rate, you can save even more money.

The best performance is achieved in flats and houses that are insulated with innovative technology.
